Mapping Business Drivers for Growth Management and Reporting Assistance

In preparation for the next funding round, Klinik Healthcare sought support for the financial modeling of the company’s business, as well as the reform of its financial processes and reporting. The goal was to improve cash flow forecast models, provide new inputs to ongoing system and data development projects, and standardize financial reporting operating models through the mapping of business drivers.

In the mapping of business drivers, the company’s business logic was modeled in collaboration with Morning’s experts. Key drivers guiding the operations were identified, and action plans were created to influence these drivers. Based on this, a new structure for the company’s cash flow forecast modeling was defined, allowing the tracking of cash flow forecasts driven by these key drivers by integrating data from different sources.

Using the modeling and target state description as a basis, the raw data state of the company was examined, and development measures were defined. Changes to various systems were identified to implement the desired cash flow monitoring and other reporting within the company. The observations made with Morning were incorporated into Klinik’s system development, aiming to enhance the predictability and transparency of business for stakeholders.
