Kisko Labs is a software company that helps its customers to build their business in a digital world by acting as a partner in application development, service design, user experience and user interface design – from design to maintenance.
Kisko Labs was particularly in need of sparring and coaching in financial management in line with its growth objectives. Among other things, they were looking at how to align activities to deliver the most value to the business in both the short and long term, and what to focus on. Kisko Labs wanted Aamu’s support in financial management and wanted to get a better overview of the current situation and where they are heading in the future.
The cooperation with Aamu started in January 2021 with a joint Clarity workshop series, which was followed by monthly cooperation.
On the road to continuous learning
Kisko Labs has a strong culture of continuous learning, and now they wanted to apply it to a deep understanding of their own finance and to disseminate knowledge to management as well as their whole staff. With the help of the Clarity partnership, we set out to examine which figures are relevant for who to monitor and how to do it in concrete terms.
The aim was to increase transparency and communication within the company. The service of Aamu helped to improve internal communication by making financial information visible to staff. The aim was that the compilation of reports would no longer be a separate activity, but that reporting would become an integral part of the company’s daily routine. Through the monthly Clarity collaboration, the data is now pre-crunched, visualized and sorted into a clearly structured set

A wide range of measurable objectives
The Clarity service makes it easy to set and track a variety of goals. As part of Kisko Labs’ culture of continuous learning, a measurable goal was set for staff training: exceeding the training budget! Quantified targets were also set for everyone’s training, with a defined proportion of working time to be spent on training. Job satisfaction has also been monitored and measured more regularly as a result of the Clarity partnership.
Knowing your own finances gives you certainty
With Aamu, Kisko Labs can now have a comprehensive and, above all, up-to-date financial picture of where it is heading and what has been achieved.
Clarity has been rolled out to all staff. Predictability has improved and management’s financial understanding has developed.
With the help of Clarity, the metrics have become a real driver for action, and the positive results of the learning are contributing to sales: Kisko Labs achieved record sales in September! Internal communication has improved, and it is easier to engage staff through better financial understanding and transparency of information flows.
