Over the past ten years, Wannado has grown from a small assistant service with a few employees to an international company employing dozens, operating in both assistant and expert roles across various fields.
Aamu’s Team Created a Clearer Business Model
The collaboration between Wannado and Aamu began a couple of years ago when Aamu had already been using Wannado’s assistant and booking services for some time. Wannado needed support in reviewing its numbers, for which Aamu’s team had a solution. The primary goal of the collaboration was to support decision-making with facts – Wannado already had plans for international expansion and needed to develop its products and services. Clearer numbers would indicate the best direction to take.
At the start of the collaboration, areas for development became apparent. First, tracking Wannado’s cost structure had become difficult due to the growth and diversity of its various business units. Secondly, loss-making operations were identified within two business units.
On Aamu’s suggestion, Wannado’s business model was simplified: each business area started calculating its own margin. Additionally, pricing for loss-making services was corrected, and the company adopted minimum pricing. Aamu built models for these in the Clarity system, where Wannado can also track the development of its sales.
